Your poor shoulders.
As is often the case with many things in your body, if you experience discomfort or problems in an area, it is rarely the area itself that needs the correction.
Shoulders take the brunt of a lot of shitty movements and habits because they ARE so mobile, primarily because they are mostly soft tissue.
They might feel tight, but that’s often because they are flapping in the breeze while your thoracic spine gets stiffer and stiffer.
A lot of what you feel in your lower back and hips can come from this same problem.
Enter: The Shoulder Series Workshop.
3 part workshop that looks at all things shoulders; what influences how they feel and perform and what they in turn influence.
In this series, we’ll start with the basic movements and correctives and gradually move up in difficulty through the 3 phases. We’ll also apply what we learn directly to your lifts including your squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, and so much more.
You’ll learn to move your scapulae independent of your spine and vice versa, move your pelvis independent of your thoracic spine, and stabilize your body around your shoulders.
I mean, this will take a lot of time and practice to master. But I’ll show you how to get there.
You can move well, feel good, AND look better if you take the time to learn what your individual body needs and how you can best serve it.

Note: This isn’t for people with an active injury and I’m not here to diagnose you. If you are limited by pain in any area of your body, you need to go get that shit checked out.
